The good folks at Shore are having a live auction on Thursday! If you have some extra money laying around, this is a sweet deal for you!!!
From 6 am to 6 pm, they will be auctioning off the most AH-MAZING prizes! Highest bid at the end of the hour wins. Easy peasy!
The money goes to the Make a Wish Foundation, a wonderful organization that grants wishes to children with life threatening illnesses. By crossing one thing off your own bucket list you help someone else see their own dream come true. Sweet! I love win-win situations!
I suppose since it's a "live" auction, you actually have to BE there at the Fairmont Pacific Rim's lobby to bid. Too bad though, as it would be great if they could somehow live feed it and have representatives taking bids from people online. Could make oodles more money that way! After all, people in Whistler or Terrace or Victoria might want to bid on these fantastic packages. Even people in Vancouver that can't get into town that day might like to bid.
But I digress.
Stop by on Thursday between 6 am and 6 pm. 1038 Canada Place, at the bottom of Burrard St. Make sure you are there during the hour when the prize you want to bid on is being auctioned. Check here to see the auction schedule.
