Well that certainly was an exciting week, wasn't it?! I didn't get to play Gold Digger, though I tried calling 80% of the time. I also didn't get through for Barbados, LA, Vegas, or the High School Reunion. But some other good things happened, so sometimes it's the little things that carry us through...
This weekend is also a rare winning weekend, with two noteworthy things happening:
1) The Peak is giving away 5 getaways to Whistler.
This is 2 nights in an en-suite room at the Hostel International (your own bathroom - yay!) which is about $90 per night. They are also throwing in Hostelling International memberships ($35 for 2 years or $175 for life) and 4 tickets to the Outdoor and Adventure Travel Show ($10-15 each). Add it up and the package is either $300 or $600, depending on which HI membership it is. Either way, a pretty sweet deal! Perfect for snow bunnies that don't ski - there is so much to do in Whistler besides hitting the slopes!
2) Rock 101's High School Reunion tickets every hour
Between 6 am and 6 pm, they will be giving away tickets to the upcoming bash every hour. This is good news, as I am pumped to go. Luckily they will be doing this all next week too, so I'll have plenty of chances if I don't have any luck Sat or Sun. You just can't BUY fun parties like this!!!
3) The Peak is also giving away $50 gift cards to Hard Rock Casino at 12:15 (thanks for the reminder, Brad!!!)
