The only thing I'm aware of is the Rock 101 High School Reunion, with the cue to call at about 20 past 8, 11, 2 and 5. If you're unfamiliar with it, you can find the details here. Someone needs to win their way in and invite me along! This will be an amazing party!! Just dancing at the Commodore is a blast, but to hear all the Stones' songs, and maybe win a Harley or a trip to Vegas? SWEET!! Any costume suggestions?
The only other thing I know of is at 6:15 on the Peak, you can win a Hard Rock prize.
The weekends are slow, some even slower than this one. But come Monday, there is great fun to be had! Gold Digger is back on Virgin, The Beat is qualifying people for a trip, Sonic and Jack are also taking qualifiers for trips, and I am hoping like hell that Peak and JRFM are going to have something wicked to announce! Rock 101 will undoubtedly have half a dozen cool things to win, and CFOX must have something up their sleeve. I also expect a beat the Bank announcement from QMFM anytime...
It might be time to start having our own contests... any suggestions? Obviously we can't do them at the scale of the stations, but maybe some restaurant gift certificates, movie passes, etc. FUN!
