This weekend...

...is a Disney on Ice weekend!!!

Listen for the cue to call on JRFM and win tickets to see Disney on Ice. My kids love this show, so I will be calling in for sure!

Here's a tip: listen for the first few hours to figure out the pattern - usually it's about 1.5 hours between giveaways, and they usually occur at about 20 past the hour or 20 to the hour. After you've heard it a few times you will see the pattern and be able to predict approximate times (and plan to be near the radio).

They start giving them away on Friday night, so tune in around 6 pm if you're free Friday night. The only problem (which isn't really a problem, per se) is that the tickets are usually for opening night. This is a later show, starting at about 7:30 at night. That's a bit late for some people's kids - by the time you walk back to the car and get them to bed, it's nearing 10 pm! But they love it so much, I don't mind letting them stay up late that one night (a Wednesday, with school the next day).

Also, it can be a bit loud, so if your child is sound sensitive (as mine is), bring some ear protection. We have some super duper ones that we take with us to movies, Playland, PNE, etc. And bring extra cash - last year I paid $8 for a snow cone. Popcorn is about the same. Ugh.
